Dubai's Best Pet-Friendly Hotels
Jumeirah Al Naseem
The flagship pet-friendly property in Dubai, and arguably in the entire Middle East. Jumeirah Al Naseem's "Paws at Al Naseem" programme includes a welcome amenity kit, pet bed, food bowls, in-room pet menu, and access to a dedicated pet lounge. The beachfront location means morning walks along a private beach, and the hotel's grounds are spacious enough for a comfortable dog. A genuine luxury experience for pets and their owners.
Sofitel Dubai The Palm
A palatial French-inspired resort on Palm Jumeirah welcoming pets with in-room amenities and garden access. The surrounding Palm Jumeirah boardwalk is good for early morning or evening walks. Avoid the afternoon heat entirely from May to September.
Atlantis The Palm
Dubai's most iconic resort accepts pets in select room categories. The sheer scale of the property, with 1,500 rooms and 17 hectares of grounds, means there's space for dogs to roam without disturbing other guests. Note that the Aquaventure waterpark is obviously off-limits for pets.
Abu Dhabi
Anantara Sir Bani Yas Island
An extraordinary wildlife resort on an island off the Abu Dhabi coast, where guests share the landscape with free-roaming giraffes, Arabian oryx, cheetahs and gazelles. Dogs are welcome in select villa accommodation. The combination of luxury hospitality and genuine wildlife encounters is unlike anything else in the region.
Summer temperatures in the UAE (June to September) regularly exceed 40°C. Exercise your pet only at dawn or after 8pm during these months. Asphalt and sand can reach 70°C, so invest in dog booties or stick entirely to grass and indoor areas.
